Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz who is professionally known in the media as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after her hometown. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father was from a Jewish family. Ryder believes she is Jewish. She has two younger half-siblings, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's parents relocated her and their children to Mendocino County California when Ryder was seven years old. At the time, there wasn't electricity. Ryder began to be a committed book reader because there was no television. Ryder took acting classes when Ryder was 12, and was enrolled in classes at the American Conservatory Theatre. At the age of 15years old, Ryder was offered her first acting job onscreen, playing Lucas. Ryder was bullied throughout high school. She hoped acting could bring change. However, that didn't happen. Still, she kept chasing the dreams she had. It was 1988 the year that Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that she got her big break. Ryder had a successful role in various films. Ryder was nominated twice for Academy Awards one for her role on The Age of Innocence (1993).

Nancy Wilson was born 20th February 1937 in Chillicothe to Olden Wilson, an ironworker, as well as Lillian Ryan (a former housemaid). Nancy Wilson was the first born child at the age of 6.
