Nancy Wilson, a jazz performer and three-time Grammy Award winner was born in Ohio, Chillicothe 20 February 1937, to Olden Wilson, an ironworker who had worked for a long period as housekeeper. Nancy is the youngest of six siblings. The passion for music that her father had as well as the music he played at home were a huge influence on Nancy when she was a little girl. When she was just four, Nancy knew her destiny was to be a performer. The talent she had developed was discovered when she sang in the choir of her church. The show was on television at the age of 15 and started performing regularly on the tv show Skyline Melodies while still in high school. When she was 15years old, Nancy started her journey in night clubs. After graduating from high school the 17-year old Nancy took a class for a term at Ohio's Central State College now Central State University before dropping out and becoming professional as a performer. In 1956, she recorded her debut record with Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band with whom she toured from 1956 until 1958. Nancy released her debut recording on Dot Records during the time she spent with this group. Cannonball Adderley advised her that she needed to relocate into New York to further her career, and she moved to The Big Town in the year 1959. After just a few days after, her manager was impressed by her voice and hired her. Her debut on the recording stage came in 1960 with a single after he obtained an agreement with Capitol records. Guess who? The records she released were also successful. Capitol released five Nancy Wilson albums in two years. With the help of Adderley's influence the singer-songwriter shifted her focus away her focus from R&B towards jazz. Maisie started her acting career in the year 2012 with Our First World. She was in 2013 as Ellie in a film called Americano and Rum. She starred in a brief cameo role in the role of Korr Sella for the movie of the year 2015 Short Wars : The Force awakens. Then, she appeared in the Netflix original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 as Chloe Winthrop.
