Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actor best recognized for her role on her role in the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' te enamores. Emeraude Toubia is also a skilled model and dancer. She is a native of Montreal, but grew up studying in Texas. Her passion for dance has been a part of her since childhood. At a very young age she was studied a variety of styles. The first time she entered beauty contests at the age of fifteen. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia garnered significant fame in 2008, when she took part in two seasons of the Univision beauty pageant show Nuestra Belleza Latina. Toubia made her acting debut in 2010, portraying a receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's TV show Aurora. She also starred in her debut film, the action drama Tattooed Love.
